"I have been using the Automation Software for about a year and a half now and I am very impressed by its reliability, versatility and the quality and speed of responses from their technical support staff.
I have developed quite a number of applications now to automate tasks that previously involved a great deal of manual input to Excel and Access and it is very good at file management in Windows Explorer, e.g.. selecting the latest created file in a series for processing or deleting more than x number of files in a series for housekeeping etc.
The most complicated application I wrote was to process a file of customer data and update a very large and complex DB2 mainframe database by simulating what users had previously been entering manually via front-end screens depending on certain criteria. In the end my application wasn't used as it was decided to create a batch program and run them overnight but the exercise did provide a very useful learning curve for me in finding out how to do a whole variety of things with Automation Anywhere and reinforced my experience of its versatility, reliability, and level of support.
Many applications that I have written have been running reliably for over a year now, and I am continually looking for new applications for the product. The current one is to export and report on email stats from Notes.

"Hi, I design systems for intelligent homes using Lonworks. I had somehow to extract the information of water and LP gas leakage, as well as smoke detectors in order to send SMS messages to a cell phone and advise of any of these kind of alarms. What I did is to program tasks using Automation Anywhere. So with a loop running each 5 minutes, the task goes into an Internet Explorer page, connects to the iLon 100 (Internet Web server from LonWorks), explores the Data Points of each sensor, and in case of a state of "ON" (Alarm Active), then opens another Internet Explorer Web Page, connecting to "Telcel" (which in Mexico is the cell phone provider), writes the cell phone number, and then the message (i.e. "Water leakage detected on main Bathroom!!!), then closes this page, and goes to the next data point. When the loop is finished, and explores all the data points, waits 5 minutes, and then starts ageing. I found this solution a very nice one since I couldn't link the two systems before. Congratulations for the Tethys solutions team! The software is really cool!"

"I am an attorney who has to keep track of all my time spent for clients throughout the day. Our firm uses Timeslips for our time entry. Since entering my time takes me about 3 hours per month (7-10 minutes per day), I was determined to find a way to make this process more efficient.
