Hello, This is very strange as we have never heard or seen such type of behaviour before. However, let us investigate. Can you please tell us, are you getting an error? If yes, can you please send us screenshot of it so that we can actually see? Can you please tell us what exactly your macro does? Following are few points that should be considered while recording a macro for its errorless execution. 1) While recording we recommend using more of keyboard short cuts instead of mouse clicks as they are more reliable than mouse moves/clicks irrespective of change in screen resolution or window size. Mouse clicks/moves are subject to work on a screen resolution they were recorded on. However, keystrokes will work as expected no matter whatever screen resolution you set to. For e.g. Up/Down arrow key would work in a reliable way than using mouse to scroll in an excel sheet. 2) While recording after you perform an action, wait for few seconds so that command gets enough time to execute on replay. Insufficient delay can skip any command and hence can mess up the commands. After recording, you can also edit your macro through Tools->Macro Editor to insert Delay command (Available in Workspace Macro Pro 6.5). 3) Here is a link to best practices for our macro products, Workspace Macro 4.6 and Workspace Macro Pro 6.5 http://www.tethyssolutions.com/bestpractices.htm Hope that helps! |

Hello, Regarding Runtime error 429, this may occur when the Windows Script Host and/or the Visual Basic run time system files on your machines have been corrupted. Please find below the links to install them 1. Visual Basic Run-time Download details: Service Pack 6 for Visual Basic 6.0: Run-Time Redistribution Pack (vbrun60sp6.exe) 2. Windows Script Host for XP and Windows 2000 Download details: Windows Script 5.6 for Windows XP and Windows 2000 Or Windows Script Host for Windows 2003 Download details: Windows Script 5.6 for Windows Server 2003 You might be required to reboot your machine after you install the above mentioned files. As you finish doing this, try to reinstall the application and see if you can use it without any problem or not. For Runtime error 70, 1) Login with Administrator account. 2) Provide proper rights (Read and Write) to 'All Users' folder under C:\Documents and Settings. 3) Now, login with Non-Administrative account and try using the software again. Regarding mouse click, can you please open the recorded macro in Macro Editor (under Tools menu) and see if you see Mouse Click command in it? Also, try running the recorded macro and see if macro replays as recorded. Hope that helps. |
