Default Changing Password Problem

Workspace Macro Ver: 4.6.1

I want to remove a password from a macro but get the following error messages:

Select: Edit Pasword Protection
Enter: Old Password
Leave: Password and Confirm Password "Blank"
Select: Save
Confirm: not to password protect the macro
Error Message: Run-time error '70' Permission denied.
Select: OK
Workspace macro closes
Error Message: Run-time error '429' ActiveX component can't create object.

Regards

Alan Lucas

Default Re:Changing Password Problem

‘429’ Error may occur when the Windows Script Host and/or the Visual Basic run time system files on your machines have been corrupted.

However, please find the link below to re-install them:

1. Visual Basic Run-time
Download details: Service Pack 6 for Visual Basic 6.0: Run-Time Redistribution Pack (vbrun60sp6.exe)

2. Windows Script Host
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

After you install these files, you might be required to reboot your machine.

As you finish doing this, try to change the password again. If the problem persists, try to reinstall the application, Workspace Macro 4.6.

Please let us know how it goes.
