Created some macros on customer machine to import multiple As400 files into Excel 4 times a day- worked great- was impressed with product-had always used Automate before. After a couple of months it stopped and when I went to investigate, the macros did not exist, no schedule, no nothing. A lot of work is gone and no one has access to my folder so no one went into the app and deleted them.After a MS update trashed Office I reloaded office, but I didn't check the macros before the office incident so I don't know if they were gone. Any ideas? I am reluctant to use the product.

Hello, This issue can arise if either the permission on My Documents has changed or the location of My Document is changed. To check the location of My Documents, select any macro in Workspace Macro Pro, righ click on it and select 'Locate on disk' option from context menu. This will open the location where macros are saved by deault. If it is different then you can copy-paste your macros (.wksp files) at this location from its original location, C:\Users\...\Documents\Workspace Macro Pro\My Macros folder. Hope that helps. |
