Hello mjsmd1943,
You can achieve your requirement by making use of keystrokes. When you open notepad and press"F5", you will get the date and time.
We have attached a macro which copies the date from that notepad so that you can paste it wherever you want. You just have to hit "ctrl+v" or you can edit this macro and can insert keystroke for pasting the date by selecting the window in which you want the date to be pasted.
Please find the macro as an attachment. Info: The "date copypaste.wksp" macro opens the "run" window. Types in "notepad" and hits "enter". Then it inserts "F5" keystroke deletes the time and copies only the date. Note: Save the "date copypaste.wksp" in "My Documents\Workspace Macro Pro\My Macros". Then open Workspace Macro Pro, select "date copypaste.wksp" and run it.
let us know if you have any doubts.
Have a good day.
Thanks & Regards.
