Default Create exe and run on client machine.

I am new to workspace Macro Pro. I have two questions:
1. Will I be able to record a macro on one computer and run it on another? If I can, do I have to install the Workspace Macro on the client machine or is there a way to create an executable of the macro to run on the client machine?
2. Since I am trying to automate an app where everything is button clicks and I cannot use keystrokes - will the macro port effectively from one machine ( where it is recorded) to another machine ( where it will be run) even if the resolutions are different and windows are different sizes.

Thanks,

Hello,

In that we recommend you try our advanced automation software, Automation Anywhere 4.0. It has a very powerful feature to convert your tasks into independent executables that can run on other machines without requiring to install the software.

To make it work on different resolutions, what we suggest is, use the advanced option in the Mouse Click command and make it relative to window as opposed to screen.

Also, if you can record your macro in the lowest resolution then it should work in all the higher resolutions.

You can download the Free trial of Automation Anywhere from http://www.tethyssolutions.com/automation-software.htm

You can request an evaluation key to test the Create Exe feature from http://www.tethyssolutions.com/requestAAPremier.htm

Hope that helps!
