Wondering if there are any known issues with installing the trial on Vista Pro? I've been evaluating this product on XP and Win 2K with acceptable results, however on Vista I've had the following problems: 1- libraries don't install 2- restart isn't requested once installation is complete 3 - unable to uninstall 4 - after I finally got a restart message, the product initiated a full rollback that pinned the machine and I had to restart and uninstall manually Any help would be appreciated, and I'll score some error messages and more meaningful data if requested. Thanks--Amy

Hello Amy, Can you please tell us what you refer to when you say ‘Libraries don’t install’? Could you provide us with screenshots of any error messages which appear during the installation? Can you tell us more about your problem so that we can help you arrive at a solution?

I am having issues with using The software on Vista. I have run the program successfully on XP on various machines...I am trying to install the software on a new vista machine with no success. upon clicking the the .exe for the installer the screen appears to say 'Loading' but nothing happens after that screen dissapears. Nothing is running in the task manager. any ideas would be helpful. or a new installer would be better.

Hello, The problem that occurs on your machine shows up on CPUs that support "Data Execution Protection (DEP)" and Vista has it turned on for all programs as it's an important security feature. We would request you to please go to Control Panel, System-> Advanced and change DEP to be for "Microsoft essential programs only". This crash only happens when DEP is set to "Turn on DEP for all programs and services". Switch DEP to "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only" and try to launch Workspace Macro Pro again and see if this helps. Also, try disabling the DEP (Data Execution Prevention) for Workspace Macro Pro. 1) Open the Windows Vista control panel, then the "System and Maintenance" item. 2) Open the "System" item there, then the "Advanced System Settings" on the left side. 3) On the Advanced tab, click the Settings button in the Performance area. 4) Finally on the Data Execution Prevention, add Workspace Macro Pro to the list of exceptions. Please let us know how it goes.
