Default Workspace Macro Pro -Automation Edition 6.5 has stopped working (Vista Home Premium)

Recently I have encountered this failure upon launch. It happens everytime and I am unaware of any system changes. Has anyone else seen this problem?

Default Solution for 'Workspace Macro Pro has stopped working' error

I had similar problem when i installed Workspace Macro Pro 6.5 on Vista Ultimate. Try to turn off User Account Control (UAC) protection that may help. You can find UAC option under:
Start->Settings->Control Panel->User Accounts
Click on option, Turn User Account Control on or off, uncheck the check box that says 'Use UAC to help protect your computer' and click on Ok button. Now, try to open the software again.

Default UAC wasn't the problem

At least shutting it off and reinstalling the app didn't make any difference. Thanks for the reply.

Hello,

Please try this,

. Go to Control Panel (Start->Settings->Control Panel)
. Double click on 'System'.
. Click on 'Advanced System Settings'
. Click on 'Advanced' tab.
. Click the Settings button in the Performance area.
. In Performance Options dialog, click on 'Data Execution Prevention' tab.
. Select option, Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services except those I Select.
. Click on Add button and select Workspace Macro Pro.exe from its installation folder.
Default location is, "C:\Program Files\Workspace Macro Pro 6.5\Workspace Macro Pro.exe"

Hope that helps.
