Default Return to initial window - using hotkey to start macro

Trying to use a selected data string out of the "currently active window" into another application, get a result on the printer and return to the initially "currently active window". The macro is being initiated by a hotkey (WSPMacro not started). So far all works fine, until getting to the point where I want to return to the starting window.

Haven't seen any option to recognize or save the name of that "currently active window".

How can I manage to get back to it in order to process the next item ?
The starting point could be any application window like Word, Excel, ERP appl.

In addition I would like to prevent the appearing of all the different screens the procedure runs through. Is there an option to do this ?

Thanks
Rolf

Hello,

Try using keystrokes, Alt+Tab to return to previous window.

Unfortunately, Workspace Macro Pro does not provide option to save the current window title however, try using our advanced automation product, Automation Anywhere that provides command, 'Get Active Window Tile' to save currently active window title into any user variable for later use in task.

You can download free trial version of Automation Anywhere 5.5.2 from our website:
Automation Anywhere - The Automation Software. Automate & Schedule IT & Business processes easily.

Hope that helps.
