Avira conflict

I was considering trying Workplace Macro Pro, but I read about a problem with Avira antivirus identifying it as a keylogger and blocking it. Since I use Avira Antivirus, I am naturally concerned about this potential problem.

I am wondering if this problem has been corrected.

Hello,

We are aware of this issue. Often virus detection tools report "false positives" where they wrongly identify security related component within a software to be virus. We are working with AVIRA so that they can fix their software. In the meantime AVIRA has recommended following steps to fix the problem.

" In the Configuration window, in Expert mode, you can set exception for Scanner and Guard, to exclude from scanning the corresponding active processes, directories and files. Please follow below mentioned steps carefully to add Workspace Macro Pro.exe in exception list.

1) Open Aira Antivir Premium.
2) Click on 'Configuration' link located at the top-right side of Aira Antivir Premium window.
3) You will be presented with a window where you need to enable the 'Expert Mode' checkbox.
4) Expand 'Scanner' in left panel by clicking in '+' sign.
5) Expand 'Scan' under 'Scanner' and click on 'Exception'.
6) Now, add file that we need to omit i.e. "C:\Program Files\Workspace Macro Pro 6.5\Workspace Macro Pro.exe" in right panel.
7) Expand 'Guard' in left panel.
8) Expand 'Scan' under 'Guard' and click on 'Exception'.
9) Add file object to be omitted i.e. "C:\Program Files\Workspace Macro Pro 6.5\Workspace Macro Pro.exe"
10) Eventually, click on 'Apply' and 'Ok' and install the software again.
