Default PAUSE feature not working anymore

For no reason at all, the PAUSE feature stopped working while the macro is running.

ESC still works but I can no longer pause the running macro.

The actual button still registers with the computer. I can go into Word and a little capitalized L shows up so I know it is not the key that is broken.

Any ideas?

Hello,

May we please know if you are hitting 'Pause' key while running the macro or using 'Pause' command in macro?

Can you please tell us more about your requirement? In that way we would be able to understand the problem better and can help you accordingly.

Hi,

I am talking about when the macro is running, I hit the PAUSE button and nothing happens.

While the macro was running before, I could hit either the PAUSE button (pause the macro) or the ESC button (stop the macro). Now only the ESC button works.

Do you need any other information?

Thanks

Hello,

This is very strange as we have never heard or seen such type of behaviour before. However, let us investigate.

Can you please try using 'Pause' command instead? You can find it inside Tools->Macro Editor.

Can you please provide your phone number at, Automation Anywhere - Open A Support Case so a support person can call you and see the issue actually?

Alternatively, you can reach us at 1-888-484-3535 x 3.

I edited the macro and added the PAUSE command in between two key strokes.

It pauses properly and allows me to click the resume button.

Pressing the PAUSE button still does not work.

Default Missing Pause popup found

The "missing" Pause popup was due to using the software in a multi-monitor and single monitor configuration. When the single monitor configuration was used, the popup was popping up on the non-existant monitor. My issue is resolved.
