I cannot open and view the Image Recognition checkpoint images TA captures. I can see the two small 'Test Run' and 'Checkpoint' images, when I mouse over them it appears I should be able to view them full screen in an editor, but I cannot. I can open and view any of the other 'Test Run' images TA captures that are not Image Recognition. Is this a bug? |

I have the same issue. I cannot open the visualize tab 'image recognition checkpoints' that have failed. I get the hand when mousing over the image but cannot open it. This makes it impossible to see the difference in the image. Sometimes the images look exactly alike and I think maybe the x/y coordinates for the image are causing failures??? Does anyone know how the image recognition checkpoint x/y coordinates work? If they are slightly off, does this cause an image checkpoint failure? I have a suite of scripts that use this technique and the images are constantly failing when there is no problem. |

Can't really comment on the X/Y issue, don't think I've ever come across it. Have you tried using the Beta version to see if that fixes it, or if the problem still exists? You have a better chance of getting the problem resolved if you find it exists in Beta. |

All of my Scripts are created and run on a virtual machine (win srv 2008) and the company does not want a beta version put on their machines. I guess I could try it on my local machine. Have you tried the new beta version? If so, have you seen a good improvement in the issues you may have been having in the past? |

Yeah I've been using/trialling the Beta version quite a lot. I've found a few (sometimes glaringly obvious) bugs but the TA support team have been fairly good in getting back to me with either a new version or keeping me informed of progress in fixing issues I've raised. I'm still waiting on a new version to fix some of the outstanding issues before I really commit time to creating a lot of new tests with it, but from what I've seen it does look to be more stable and reliable. The MWO and Smart Recorder functions have been re-written and work a lot better than the current version, which I'm hoping will solve the majority of problems I'm experiencing. I also create and run my tests in a virtual environment, but XP. |
