When I record a sequence of web actions using Web Recorder, it records all my actions but will not play them back. I try to open a web page and get a security pop-up. When the pop up is acknowledged, the log-in page is presented but the script will not log in. (it worked during record mode) It does not even do the first step of entering the user name. If I code this as two scripts and run them one at at time all the steps work but multiple browser windows get opened. If I copy and paste them into one script it stops. Any ideas? Hello , We will have to look at your task in order to send you possible solutions. So if possible please send us the task with the URL of the website which you are trying to record in. We will also require the username and password for accessing the website so that we can test the recorded task. You can send your task and the related details to support@automationanywhere.com |

can you share with us what the resolution of this was? I too have web recorders "stop" - it appears that the page name has changed during playback, but, there doesn't seem to be a way to use the asterisk in webrecorder to wild card page names. |
