App Integration - Stopped Capturing Text

I have used the App Integration function in many of my tests that are being used to test a Windows Based application.

The command was once working perfectly but has now stopped capturing the text in the selected window.

I have tried:
- Re-capturing the Window and/or Area
- Deleting the command and re-entering it again

None of the above solutions have resolved the issue. As a result, my tests have stopped working.

Please can this be investigated?

Unfortunately I am yet to receive a resolution for this issue.

Options tried to resolve the issue:
1. Reinstall Activation Setup.exe.
2. Reinstall TA.
3. Tried to carry out DEP settings for Activation Setup but it did not work.

Please can I be updated with your progress?

We receive your confirmation to our email support that the solution provided to you has resolved your query.

We would like to share it on forum. Hope its ok.

Please carry out below mentioned settings:

1. Turn off the DEP Settings, to do this follow the steps below:
   • Go to Control Panel->System->Advanced System settings.
   • Go to Advanced tab-> Click on "Settings" button for Performance.
   • In Performance Options dialog, Click "Data Execution Prevention" tab.
   • Select the option "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select:"
   • Click on "Add..." button and browse "Testing Anywhere" application file and click open.
   • Mark it as Checked. (See the screenshot [DEP_Settings.png] for more information)
2. Open Calculator Application.
3. Use App Integration command with option 'Capture Window’. Try to capture text on Calculator application.
4. If not able to capture text with 'Capture Window' option, then select 'Capture Scrollable Text" option and click on "View Captured text" button. It should start capturing the text.
