Editing a new task from windows explorer closes open tasks

I've lost some work due to this... when you are working on a task and you navigate to a new task in windows explorer and right click on it and select edit.... it opens the new task, but closes the one you were working on initially... apparently it is supposed to ask you to save the first one but in my case it didn't ask me to... it just closed it and all changes were lost.

It shouldn't close all other open tasks when you open a new one from windows explorer... it should just open it for editing normally... as if I had selected it from within the automation anywhere main window.
