Default EXE's and AA stop loading.

I have 6 exe's that automate a web application. They each run every 15 seconds indefinitely and monitor a database and then will do some work with an internal web application.

The exe's work and I have watched them work for a good amount of time.

My problem is that for whatever reason the exe's stop loading. (I know this because I have them log to a file of each step they do and nothing is being logged) In addition to my exe's not working, neither does my Automation Anywhere software. I get the same response when I double click my exe's and when I double click the automation anywhere software. Just a small blip that looks like an attempt to run and then nothing.

I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, repairing Automation Anywhere and no matter what I do AA will not work on my server. The only thing to do is reinstall the OS which I have done however that is an unacceptable solution.

I am currently running on server 2003 with all the latest service packs and updates.

Has anyone experienced this or have any ideas what is going on?

Regards,
Rick

Hello,

Can you please try this,

1. Right click on My computer -> Select Properties from context menu item.
2. Go to Advance setting->Settings
3. Settings->Go to the Data Execution Prevention tab.
4. Select the option “Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only” and click Apply.

Hope that helps.

Tried that and had no success. I still get the loading splash screen and then nothing ever loads.

Hello,

Can you please tell us, if it is the case with this particualr exe or with every exe you create and run? Can you create a simple task that includes only 'Message Box' command, create its exe and run it.

Please let us know how it goes.

I wish I could do that. However. "I can no longer even open Automation Anywhere". So this is impossible. As stated in my first post. I've tried uninstalling reinstalling and repairing the AA software and still nothing works. I try to open AA and I get a loading box and then it disappears.
