Default Use Vlookup

I didn't view the actual tasks, but it seems this can be easily accomplished with the Excel Vlookup formula. Have AA enter the formula and it will give you results if it exists.

I've used this method for many similar tasks.

Hi,

The automation is working perfectly, thank you.

There is just one last major issue with this automation.

We generally have ~500-800 rows in the Master session and a smilar number of rows in the MSO session.

The automation currently moves down 1 cell at a time from the beginning of the required start position as it matches each row from the MSO session to the Master session. As you can imagine this process will take a significant period of time to complete.

I have tried to adjust the speed settings for the task however this does not seem to effect the speed of this automation.

Can you please suggest how we can speed up this process? Do we need to use a different automation technique?

Thanks and regards.

Hello,

You can use multiple 'Get Multiple Cells' command to run it faster.
The Vlookup option suggested by trentonponder would also help.
For that you need to revamp the entire task.

Hi,

This really is an issue for me as many of my tasks rely on this functionality (ensuring that a specific line from a dowload is not already contained in a master document).

I apologise for the 'run-around' but could you please re-vamp the task so that it processes the 'matching OrderNumber' condition between the two files as fast as possible?

It may also speed up the process by 3 times if we move the condition to check if the 'Vendor column is blank' before the 'OrderNumber matching' so that it does not need to match the rows that are going to be excluded.

Thanks and regards.
