Default tips and tricks for using keystrokes on web pages

I want to be able to move to a specific control and then press the enter key.

I can't use the web control capture because it SPAWNS other windows.
I don't other windows.

Is there a reliable way to locate or tab to a specific control without SPAWNING windows?

Hello,

What we understand, you need to capture or click on a control in an already open webpage. Am I correct?

In that case you can use 'Insert Keystrokes' command to locate and click on the control. For e.g. you can search for particular string before that control using keystroke ‘Ctrl+f’ and then hit Tab to get focus on required control then hit Enter to click that control.

If you can send URL of website, we can create sample as per your requirement.

Hope that helps.

Hello,

You can use 'Image Recognition' feature for this. Visualize Technology 'Image Recognition' gives Automation Anywhere power to "See the screen". Compare static or dynamic images as task runs and perform actions based on it. It also provides a very powerful feature whereby it allows you to click on the image if it is found within the larger image.

You can find 'Image Recognition' command under 'Advanced' Command Category. (Available in Enterprise version and above)

Hope that helps.
