When I run a task from its executable (made from Create Exe command), it is behaving differently (when compared to the task being run from task editor). I was looping through a html table in my task. When I run from task editor, it is letting me go through all 38 rows without any problem. But when I run the task from it's executable, it is terminating after row 17 without any warning. I am on Automation Anywhere 5.0.2 Premier. Could you pls tell me if someone else encountered similar problem? Thanks Kiran |

Hello, This is very strange as we have never heard or seen such type of behaviour before. However, let us investigate. Would it be possible for you to upload the atmn file so that we can see what you are trying to do and suggest what could be wrong? You can locate your task by selecting your task from Task List, right clicking that particular task and selecting 'Locate on disk' from context menu. Otherwise, you can also send text format of task. For that, open your task in a Task Editor, go to Tools->Save as text file and send this text file. It would help us investigate further. |

After removing the exe from my zip file, I am able to attach the rest. Pls create exe using Automation Anywhere 5.0.2 Premier. I am attaching the html page (and other required files) & task. You need to place everything at c:\. I put a message box with a counter in the html table loop iteration. You can see that the task is running till count = 38 but the executable is stopping at count = 17. Please let me know if you need any further information from my side. Thanks Kiran |

Hello Kiran, We could reproduce the scenario in version 5.0.2. However, this issue could not be reproduced in the latest version of Automation Anywhere i.e. version 5.5. Version 5.5 is a free upgrade for version 5.0.2 customers. You can download free trial version of Automation Anywhere 5.5 from our website: Automation Anywhere - The Leader in Automation Software You can request ayir.exe for version 5.5 at Automation Anywhere - Open A Support Case Hope that helps.
