String Size Test

Does anybody have any idea how we could perform a variable size test? In our dealings with dynamic screens we have a requirement to test the size of the variable.

Jumping to an external is not a viable solution as the transfer/execution of external code has a very large overhead.

Hello Frank,

You can use 'Run Script' command to call a VB Script that finds the string size passed as parameter. When you create exe of this task, the VB script also get packed in exe.

We have attached a sample task for your reference. To run this task,

. Please copy it under location, 'C:\...\My Documents\Automation Anywhere\Automation Anywhere\My Tasks' folder.
. Copy .vbs under C:\

Yes, the exe would run faster compared to the task.
