Default Get current URL

I need to create a simple task.

Get the URL of the current website.

Is this possible?

Hi
The way I do this is via recording keystrokes in the browser window,
Eg Go to Address Bar double click, then right click and select copy.
not elegant but it works.
It would be nice if a system variable held this value instead.

Hello,

In latest version, Automation Anywhere 5.5. Web Recorder provides functionality of Get URL in Manage Web Control to get the URL of a link and save it in a variable.

We have attached a sample task for your reference. Please copy it under location, 'C:\...\My Documents\Automation Anywhere\Automation Anywhere\My Tasks' folder.

You can download free version of Automation Anywhere 5.5 from our website:
Automation Anywhere - The Leading Automation Software

Hope that helps.

Hello,

Just simulate the following series of Keystrokes in current browser window, F4, Esc, Ctrl+c. Then you will get the URL in $Clipboard$ variable.

Note: Insert 'Clear Clipboard' command before you copy the URL.
