I have 6.1 with Integration. Not Enterprise. I am trying to load(fill-in) a web page with data from excel which has double byte characters (e.g. Chinese) but I'm told it can't be done without the Unicode piece in the Enterprise Version. I am thinking there must be some work around.. Anyone found one? Thanks, Randy |

I've continued testing multiple scenarios, only to find out that anytime the double byte text is moved into an Automation Anywhere variable, it is lost. So, the issue is obviously a shortcoming of AA not windows or the browsers. The only thing I've been able to make work is a time consuming and slow executing process of CTRL-C & CTRL-V combos for every cell I want to paste into the web site. I like this application, but I think this is a real BUG that should be addressed for all versions of the software. (In my opinion) Regards, Randall Hodges |

Hello Randell, This should not be happening under normal scenarios, while using Ctrl + c and Ctrl +v it does not take long to carry out these actions. Only if the system is slow because of multiple processes going on in the background it may result into delay in the action. We believe the problem you are facing is because you are dealing with Chinese text, since the Automation Anywhere version you are using is English version which is not supporting non English text. You are required to have Unicode version of Automation Anywhere which is build to take care of non english operating systems and applications. In order to try using Unicode version of Automation Anywhere please send the request to support@automationanywhere.com |
