Unhappy Automation Anywhere - Automation file permissions to run

Guys

We have created an AA exe file but users without domain admin rights are getting Access Denied when trying to run it, unless it has been run first by an an administrator on each PC.

What would we need to do to correct this?

Hello,

May I please known if you are using a trial version?

In that case, i suggest you to request a 10 day evaluation key from http://www.tethyssolutions.com/requestAAPremier.htm then create exe again and try running it directly on users without domain admin rights.

Hope that helps.

Hello,

After you create the exe from task, what you can do is,

. Login with account having admin rights.
. Right-click on exe (in windows explorer) and select Properties from context menu.
. Click on 'Security' tab in Properties dialog.
. Assign full control rights to non-admin user(s) and save the settings.

Now, run the exe in non-admin account.

Note: If you find 'Unblock' button in properties dialog then you need to click on it.

Hope that helps.
