Unhappy AA doesn't launch

Hello,

I'm evaluating this product on one of our servers (which is running VMWare Server). Although the "Automation Anywhere Service.exe" service is running, launching the "Automation Anywhere.exe" only brings up the trial dialog, and selecting "try it" only shuts down the application. (Note that I have plenty of days of trial time.)

Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Hello,

That is very strange.

1. Does it happen every time when you load Automation Anywhere.

2. Did you try to re-install the software?

3. How do you open the application? Can you try to double-click Automation Anywhere.exe in the installation folder and see if you are seeing the same behavior?

4. Do you have enough memory on the machine when you loading Automation Anywhere? It may happen if you have very less free memory.

i am having a similar problem. I have the full registered version on a workstation. i run the program one day it works fine all day. i am still in the programing stage so i don't use it every day, so it sits for about three days. i don't touch it at all except maybe to restart the machine but when i go to use it again the program will not launch. the "launching..." window pops up then just disappears. i have watched the .exe start in task manager and it will actually start two Automation Anywhere.exe tasks then immediatly disappear. i have ran a repair on the program and it did not help. any help would be greatly appreciated.

When this problem occurred with me, I went to Task Manager and just did 'End Task' for all Automation Anywhere applications that were showing open and then launched the program again. Now, I am using the Automation Anywhere icon in system tray to launch the application.
