Default ? consistency in syntax for varibles?

I know you team is fine tuning the new editor.

A couple of things come to mind when using VARIABLES in AA.

Sometimes the variables are ordered in a list in ALPHA descending.
Sometimes the variables are ordered ALPHA ascending.
Sometimes the variables appear to be ordered randomly or perhaps in order created.

Could you:
be consistent
or
Add a SORT button?

Also,
Sometimes AA displays variables with dollar signs ($) surrounding them.
Sometimes AA just displays the variable names.

Consistency is our friend when programming.
Entropy is our enemy.

Please help us by helping our friend CONSISTENCY.

thanks
Phil
