Scrapping URLS of Images

Hi Team

When I attempt to scrape images , i utilise the pattern based option in the web tool but it only picks up 3 images out of 20, I am not sure why?

Can any one explain why this might be, and a solution to try.

Hello Kidsplaystore,

While scraping images by using "pattern based data" in the web data extraction feature of Automation Anywhere, it asks for two images for matching the pattern. After this it sets a pattern within itself and then scrapes all the images which are in the same pattern in that page. If the images are spread in more than one page, you can select "data spans across multiple pages" and capture the control which changes the page.
For example: a next tab below the page which opens the next page.

Sometimes the feel and look of the web page containing the images may deemed to have the same pattern but the structure of the language which displays the pattern may differ hence it may not capture all the images due to the internal structural differences in the pattern.

If you can share with us the link of the webpage containing the images that you want to scrape, we can guide you in a better way.

As requested this is the URL , I want to scrape the image URL but can only get 3 out the 20 that are on there.

Hello,

We have prepared the sample task for you that will get the URLS of all the images into a CSV file and also download the images in particular at location to "C:\Images\". Please view the sample CSV file attached with the mail.

Setup Instruction:
1) Copy the "Forum_Sample_kidplaystore.atmn" to location "My Documents\Automation Anywhere\Automation Anywhere\My Tasks"
2) Launch the Automation and Run the Task File.
