Hello Atirez,

The "manage window controls" command works on object id. So when you capture a particular text box, it captures it by keeping the object id into account.

Thanks & Regards

So what information can I use, that is presented to me, to figure out which control it is accessing?

Hello Aitrez,

When we use "Manage window controls" command for capturing any of the window control, it describes the captured control under CONTROL PROPERTIES in "Manage window controls" command window. The field "Selected control" shows the control that is captured.

For example: If you capture any command button,
Selected Control= Command Button

If you capture status bar,
Selected Control= Status Bar

If you capture Text box,
Selected Control= Text Box

Thanks & Regards
