I am looking to automate a process that I do not want to do over and over again. 1. Start Program 2. Open File (This would have to be a variable, since this will keep changing.) 3. Choose "Ask for Compression algorithm" 4. Click "Convert Button" 5. Then a Save As Window opens, Which I type in the name and then Click Save. (This would have to be a variable, since this will keep changing.) 6. Then another Window opens which will allow me to choose Video Compression from the drop down window. Then Click OK. 7. Then another window open which shows the progress bar of the process done. (I would like automate to wait for this progress window to close befor moving on to the next step.) 8. After It completes it says Complete. 9. Then Click Exit to end program. This is a very Windows 98SE old progran which the programmer does not anymore. I am very new to automation, since this is the only route I can go without manual repeating the process 60000 times. I would like to get any insights that anyone would have to accomplishing this. Thanks in Advance. |

Hello hbelouf, Your requirement can be easily achieved with Automation Anywhere software. You can record the whole process with the help of advanced recorder of Automation Anywhere which will play back the process according to the trigger set or the conditions set by you or you can even create the task using commands like "Open Program file" and "Manage Windows control" which will capture the application controls according to your requirement and will run the same process in the form of a task.
