Hello, Can you please tell us, which menu item you want to click on? Using MWC, unfortunately, you cannot click main menu items like File, Edit, View, etc however, you can always click or select the sub menu items under them. For e.g. to select 'New' option under File menu, First capture the File menu, select option 'Click item by Index and provide the index number i.e. 2. You can also select sub menu items by text, which is more reliable because in some applications like MS Word the index number changes frequently so in that case 'Click item by Text' would work irrespective of index. Hope that helps. |

Hi, I have tried to Click on the menu item by index but I am not sure how the index is defined therefore I am trying to Click on the menu item by text as your advice... It is still not working, I have the same problem with tabs. Here are two screen shots attached: 1. mspaint.exe when I am trying to click on the help item. 2. The capture by WMC with the parameters it is getting. Thanks in advance, Ariel K. |

Hello, Screenshots shows the OS language is not English and that is the reason for MWC command not working. This problem is resolved in upcoming version of Automation Anywhere that supports internationalized MWC command. Hope that helps. |
