Default Automation Anywhere Task Error

I am running a rather long task and every once in a while there are errors related to the loading of a web page. These errors are out of my control so I would like the task to either skip to a later line or start over.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello,

Can you please tell us, are you using Web Recorder to automate the web task?

You can try this, use If Ping Successful command and in that specify URL of website like this "www.xyzabcd.com". If website is up the condition would become true and you can proceed with the task else you can stop the task or take action as per your requirement. You can also use Loop while 'Ping Unsuccessful' condition to wait until the website is up.

Alternatively, try using version 5.0 of Automation Anywhere Enterprise that provides you with Error Handling command to handle errors when a task runs. You can continue the task after the block where the error occurs, or stop the task.
To download free trial of enterprise version please visit,
Automation Anywhere Enterprise - Automation Software for automating complex and simple tasks

Hope that helps.
