web recording problem

I have set up a web record task to fill out multiple text fields online.

The task runs smoothly using variables associated to values in a text field.

However, on occasion (usually when the page is slow to load), the first variable is not loaded in its field. I added a delay (50 milliseconds) but the problems remains.

Can someone tell me how to ensure this problem does not happen?

Hello,

Can you please try increasing the delay time to say 500 ms? If you can upload your task then we can look into it and can suggest a viable solution.

You can locate your task by selecting your task from Task List, right clicking that particular task and selecting 'Locate on disk' from context menu.

I was having a similar problem and used image recognition to wait until the web control I was waiting for appeared.
