I'm using a variable from a text file but the value of the variable changes so I have made a list of values in the text file as seen below analysis=winter analysis=rain analysis=cold analysis=hail analysis=wind Can someone tel me the best way to use automation anywhere to delete the top line of the text file and save the file so that when it is opened next it can read the following value? Thanks in adance. |

Hello, What we suggest is, store all the values like winter, rain, cold, etc in an excel file and get the value from there. At the end of task move the cursor to next cell or value and save the excel file so that in next run the next value is processed. For your reference, we have attached a sample task. To run this task at your end, . Please copy .atmn file under location, 'C:\...\My Documents\Automation Anywhere\Automation Anywhere\My Tasks' folder. . Copy .xls file under C:\. Run the task 2-3 times. In each run the next value in the list would be displayed. Hope that helps. |
