Email Notification Template--which variables

We would like to include both the snapshot image and a logfile in the standard Email Notification Template, and it seems like it can be modified by using the menu selection Tools>Options>Email Notification. For example, how can the error line number and the error description be added to that template? And, can a user defined variable be placed in that template, and what is the syntax to do so?

Unfortunately, variables are not supported in Email Notification Template under Tools>Options>Email Notification. However, you can use 'Send Email' command as the last line of your task.
With Send Email command you can insert user defined variable(s) or system variables in Message. Also, you can send an attachment with email. You can send your message in HTML format, you can insert picture in your message.

You can find Send Email command under 'Internet' command category.
