The General Task Timeout is needed ...

Hi,

We have got AA5.0. We have AA task which is related to Web forms. We have problem where task is waiting for web response for ever. It means it hanged in specific line. Is it possible to give expiration time parameter (e.g. General Task Timeout), and when waiting time will be great then this parameter then whole task will be automatically stopped?

The setting option for IE timeout does not work in our case (Tools->Options-> Advanced Settings -> Internet Explorer Timeout).

Hello Dariusz,

Can you please tell us, are you using web recorder for your web task? If yes then Web Recorder works tightly with Internet Explorer, there is an internal plug-in for Internet Explorer which tells web recorder to wait until the page is fully loaded before executing the web action.

Is it possible for you to upload your task so that we can try running it at our end? Also, specify the line number where it hangs. You can locate your task by selecting your task from Task List, right clicking that particular task and selecting 'Locate on disk' from context menu.

It would help us investigate further.
