This way I can make sure that every part of the task is as planned, but I don't want to hinder or arrest the use of the plug-in that Web recorder uses in Internet Explorer 7. The best explanation of the login I found in a post about Web forms: ' For web automation, we recommend you to use the 'Web Recorder' tool as Web Recorder is ideal for web recording. Web Recorder understands all web controls. If websites change and web controls move, Automation Anywhere will find the correct controls and the task will continue to work. There is an internal plug-in for Internet Explorer which tells web recorder to wait until the page is fully loaded before executing the next action or command.' |

Hello, You can open the tasks created using Web Recorder in Task Editor (Tools->Task Editor). In Task Editor, you will see all the Web Recorder commands related to the controls you worked with while recording for e.g. links, text boxes, drop down menus etc. A task created using Web Recorder is not restricted to only Web Recorder commands. You can enter other commands like Keystrokes, Mouse Clicks and any other command from the list of commands provided in the Task Editor. You can edit your task and insert other actions to perform required action. Hope that helps. |

Are there other thing "bound together" with the web commands. Sometimes when I record and then add other commands and then MOVE a recorded command, it will do "weird things" - like open a second window. Is there anyway to avoid that? |

Hello, Can you upload the screenshot of second window you are referring to? Is it possible to upload the task as well so that we can try reproducing the scenario at our end? Apart from dragging, you can also move a command by right clicking the command and selecting 'Move Up' or 'Move Down' as per your requirement. Hope that helps. |
