CSV Import

I'm currently importing a CSV file, and as I run through the Resultset, I'm setting each column to a different variable.

Some of the columns are credit card numbers like : 546372617282811212, but what AA does, is makes the variable like 13.93939292902+E15 etc. like it would do it in excel. Some of the fields are for example transaction ID's like 0000029382, but when retrieved the variable is just 29382.

How can I stop AA from doing with these strings what it likes and getting the REAL values from the column.

This isn't AA that's causing this problem. You need a Schema.ini file in the same directory as your csv file. The Schema.ini file tells the driver how to process the values. The name of the file is always Schema.ini

If you search Microsofts site you should find some information on Schema.ini. start here.
