Default Email send not working

Are there any tricks to getting the 'Send email' statement to work? We have been trying every SMTP and email address we can dig up that might be used and haven't been able to receive any emails. The statement executes with no errors but we never receive an email. Any way of additional debugging of this issue? Thanks

Note, we are trying different SMTP addresses in the email settings, not the email statement itself. In the statement just have the 'from' and 'to' set to my own work email address. Thanks

Hello,

For 'Send Email' command to work please set the following parameters under Tools->Options->Email Settings.

1) Host- The SMTP Host allows you to send email from Automation Anywhere over the Internet. You have to obtain this information from your Internet Email provider or you may obtain it from the configuration section of your Email program.
2) Port- This setting defines the TCP/IP port, which Automation Anywhere uses for sending e-mails. By default, this setting uses port 25 that is the Internet standard for sending SMTP e-mails.
3) If your outgoing mail server requires username and password then, specify your username and password in their respective fields.

In addition, if antivirus like ZoneAlaram is on then try disabling it and try again.

Hope that helps.
