Default Setting "Currently Active Window" to receive input

Is there a way I can set "Currently Active Window" to receive all input, before a task is recorded?
It can get a bit tiresome to edit this after a task is created, since I have to make quite a few tasks for testing purposes.
I have to run the tasks on different versions of our software, and window titles may vary.

Hello,

Automation Anywhere provides you with an option, Enable this task to run with other similar files or window titles. By default, the task recorded will only run on the specific file(s) it was recorded on. However, SMART Automation Technology enables an option whereby the recorded task can be run on any file within the application it was recorded in. For e.g. you recorded a task on abc.xls. You can run this task on def.xls, xyz.xls or any other *.xls file by enabling this option.

In addition, you can also specify a wild card character (*) at the end or beginning of the window title if your window title keeps on changing all the time. For e.g. you can write 'Microsoft Excel*' or '*Excel' etc. instead of providing the complete title if your title always keeps on changing. However, if you know the exact title of the window then we recommend providing the complete title to ensure that the actions are always performed in the correct window.

Tip: To make the task generic, use wildcards. You can use a wildcard at the beginning, end or both sides of the window titles.

Hope that helps.
