Default AA and multiple monitors in Portrait mode

I've noticed that for me, AA is "brittle."

It seems to have unexpected results:
1) sometimes AA completely disappears after an error 9, 10 or 5.
2) web controls change inexplicably - work one day - can't find the named control the next.

I am running a machine with THREE 19 inch flat panel monitors in PORTRAIT mode.

Could that be causing "problems" such as the subscript errors I sometimes see?

I also notice in TASK MANAGER that I may have several AA applications running at once -
And even after I try to shut them down,
I sometimes have to END TASK them to free up files that are in use.

Hello,

Could you please tell us, does the URL of those links are same? If yes then check both the options 'Name' and 'URL' in Advanced options for that particular Web reorder command.

If you could send us task that you have created we would be able to recreate the scenario at our end also can check if anything is going wrong in it. Also please send us screenshot of error that you receive so that we can actually see.

Closing Automation Anywhere by clicking on cross (X) button, does not exit the software, it is running in the system tray. Therefore, the next time if you will open Automation Anywhere by double clicking its shortcut, it will open another instance of application.

Hope that helps. If not, then send us URL of that website so that we can help you more with specific task.

thanks!

I'm inferring from you message that the multiple monitors should not be a problem -
Please confirm - something is making the product prone to errors.

Regarding running in the system tray - what is the PREFERRED way to shut down?

Regarding the URL and NAME - I cannot use URL because the URL is dynamically build by the server.
However, the NAME option, which had worked reliably for several days, suddenly started selecting the LAST instance of the NAME on the page rather than the FIRST instance.

I then followed the suggestion from support to unclick and reclick NAME and resave.
Then I got the message that the URL could not be found.
Please see my email on this issue.

Best
Phil
