I've heard development is working on some major improvements to the editor. I'd like to send you some screen shots of an effect I notice from time-to-time when editting. I'd to have this issue identified and if possible rectified. When I am part-way down a screen and have a line selected, and then hold down the shift key and then click on a line BELOW the current line selected, my expectation is that: 1) the current line selected will remain highlighted and selected. 2) The new line (which is below) that I click on will become highlighted and selected. 3) all lines in between (if any) will be highlighted and selected. This is normal windows function in editors, word, excel, and the explorer windows. Instead in the AA editor, ALL lines from the top of the current screen (possibly from the top of the atmn) down thru the second line clicked will become highlighted and selected. Do you observe this as well? If so, can you explain why there is this "non-typical of windows apps" behavior? thanks as always. Phil |

a little more "guessing" info on this. the problem seems to be that after an ATMN is RUN while being edited, the selection line is moved from the current line being editted to the TOP LINE. this may be impacted by having DEBUG on. In any case, the selected line AFTER running an ATMN should be the same as it was BEFORE running the ATMN. thanks Phil |

Hello Phil, Thank you for pointing out such issues, we have not yet come across this issue. We will request you to please provide us details of your system like which Operating system you are using and screen resolution of your system. However, we assure you that this issue will be fixed in the future release with the modified editor. The new editor will be created on different set of functionality and it will overcome this issue. We will be looking forward for your screen shots of issues related to task editors. |

After a bit more testing this seems to happen whether or not DEBUG is on. The trigger seems to be that it happens THE FIRST TIME after a RUN after a SAVE. So the sequence of events is: 1) make a change somewhere in the atmn 2) SAVE the atmn - LEAVING the current line selected somewhere in the middle of the ATMN. 3) run the atmn from the editor. 4) Hold down the SHIFT KEY and click on a line after the current one selected (this is common to do if you want to copy a few lines and paste them somewhere else). Result, the ENTIRE ATMN from the first line thru the line that was clicked will become SELECTED. Expected result, ONLY the lines between the prior-selected line and the line that was shift+click should have been selected. thanks - please fix. Phil |

glad to help! for reference, I view and type on an XP SP3 machine - with 3 flat panel displays and an NVIDia dual head card and intel mother board video all in use. Screen resolution is 1280x1024 portrait but *****I use REMOTE DESKTOP to ********************* a 32bit WINDOWS 7 machine, running AA 610 beta. Let me know if you need more info about my installation. Best wishes on the new editor, and many thanks for all your good work. Phil |
