time it takes to repaint the task folder

when I do a save as
or rename
or switch folders

It seems AAs editor needs several minutes to repaint the screen and reposition the window to the tasks in the selected folder.

are there any "tips or tricks" that you can suggest to reduce the time required for these relatively simple tasks?

Does AA parse all folders below the
AUTOMATION ANYWHERE
folder?

Is there a way to reduce this needless overhead and delay?
