ESC key

Is it possible to run a task without "ESC" key stopping the execution of the task.

I am running a automation anywhere task in background and when press "ESC" in another program in foreground, but background automation task stops execution.

Is there a way around it?

Unfortunately this option is not available in currently released version Automation Anywhere 6.0. However, we have added this enhancement in our upcoming version of Automation Anywhere 6.1.

We recommend you to take the backup of all your Tasks from My Documents\Automation Anywhere\Automation Anywhere\My Tasks(Default Location) folder, so that you do not lose your task if result is not favorable.
