Default Copy Files From Subdirectories

I am trying to create a task that will recurse through a folder and all it's subfolders and copy any pdf's to a seperate directory.

I am particulary stuck on how to get it to recurse through and what the syntax should be.

Thanks - I am new to Automation Anywhere so this may be a very basic question.

Hello,

We have prepared a sample task which runs through all the sub folders in a folder and copy all the .txt files present in all the sub folders.

In sample task we have used “Input” and “Output” folder. Input folder is containing sub folders like “One”, “Two”, “Three” and “Four”. These sub folders is containing .txt files. The task will get all the .txt files from each of these sub folders and copy it to Output folder.

Please find the zip file which contains task and supporting files attached with the Post.
1. Save and extract the zip file in C:\
2. Save the task file “Loop for sub-folders.atmn” from the extracted location to “My Documents\Automation Anywhere\Automation Anywhere\My Tasks” (Default Path).
3. Launch Automation Anywhere. From the Task List, select “Loop for sub-folders.atmn” task and click on Run Task button.
4. After the task gets completed it will open Output folder containing all .txt files from the sub folders.

In your case you can replace .txt file with .pdf files. Please try to run the task and let us know how it goes for you.

It won't allow me to open the sample task because it is written in a higher version that what we have 5.5. Would it be possible to see the text of the file?
