Default Differential Backup

Sample Tasks has a way of scheduling backups of files/folders, but is there a way of doing just differential backups for files that have changed on a particular day?

Hello,

Definitely yes, 'Copy Files' command provides an Advanced view that lets you perform the operations on files and folders based on their size and creation/modified date (see attached screenshot). For e.g. you can copy files that were created in last 180 days and size of at least 50 Kb and above, you can take backup of files created between particular dates say for a particular month, you can copy files created/modified before any specific date, etc.

You can also refer to various online samples (for automating file and disk management) available at, http://www.tethyssolutions.com/autom...mples.htm#file

Hope that helps.
