Default Unable to Back Tab

Insert Keystrokes has a special button for TAB but not for Back Tab. I would normally use Shift+Tab but cannot find a key for "shift". I need to use back tab to locate the button to press. Going forwar using tab is of no use as I have a variable number of entries which I cannot control.

Hello,

Following is the text format of 'Insert Keystrokes' command to play Shift+Tab in required window,
Keystrokes: [SHIFT DOWN][TAB][SHIFT UP] in "Window Title"

Hope that helps.

I eventually found this result by recording the process but when I try to save this text the system tells me that the combination is not valid but allows me to save. I assume I ignore the warning sign

Hello,

You must be getting warning, ‘Invalid sequence for 'Shift' key' or so. This type of warning generally comes when there is improper pairing of keystrokes. For e.g. If you have [SHIFT DOWN][TAB] in one keystrokes command and [SHIFT UP] in another. In that case, when you try to save any keystroke command you will get that warning. If you will put the pair in one keystrokes command ([SHIFT DOWN][TAB][SHIFT UP]), you can save the command without warning. You can ignore that warning if you have another pair in next keystroke command.

Hope that helps. If not, please send us screenshot of warning so that we can actually see.

Hi

The interesting thing as that although you may enter the keystroke correctly and save it when you save the task the system will split the keystrokes up. It is when you go back into the split keystroke that you get a warning. Everything works now well but the system does make one nurvous by saving in this way.

Thanks for your help
