Default Click 1st link - extract data from page - go back - click 2nd link etc

I am using AA 6.0 and I have a question about the "extract data (pattern)"-option.

I have a list of links on a website (which also spans across several pages, so I have to let AA click the next-buttion, but that's less relevant.)

Because there are so many links, I use to extract data pattern-option. It collects the Urls. The problem is that behind each link there is obviously some data that I would like to extract.

Of course I could collect all the urls and then have AA go through the different web sites to collect the data. But that would mean that I would have crawl the web sites twice (one for collecting the URLs, one for extracting the data on each URL). And that's close the impossible because there are thousands of pages.

Is it possible in someway (maybe using the extract data pattern-option or if not then another option)
1) to click a URL from a list of URLs on a html page
2) extract data from new page
3) Go back the the page where the URLs are listed
4) click the second URL in the list
5) extract data from the page that comes up
6) etc...

It seems that the extract data option within edit task, where I can write the extracted data to a variable, is not combinable with the extract data pattern-option. Am I mistaken? Please show me how..

btw: I need all the data in a spreadsheet.

Hello,

Looking at the description it seems to be possible to achieve using Extract Pattern based data. Can you please email us the URL? This will help us to investigate at our end and prepare a sample task for you.

Can you please submit a support case from Automation Anywhere - Open A Support Case?
