Lightbulb Chmod

I know this is kind of kludgy, but if you automate an FTP program, you could use Automation Anywhere's "Insert Keystrokes" to type the chmod command (with parameters, su/sudo, etc). I only suggest automating the launch of a separate ftp program because I'm not sure if that's possible using AA's ftp command; doesn't look like it.
