I'm trying to extract text from the status bar (on the bottom) of an application. An example of this would be extracting the "Internet" from the bottom of Internet Explorer (assuming you have set the status bar to be visible. I can get the text on the left side of the status bar (usually shows "Done" when a page it loaded), but I want to get the text from one of the other boxes in the status bar... for example the one that says "Internet" in it. I can select that windows control but it will not give me the contents of it... it always returns the contents of the box on the far left (the "Done" one). How can I get the text from other sections of the status bar? I'm not actually doing this for IE, I am doing it for another application... I'm just using IE as an example. If we can get it to work in IE, I think we can get it to work in my other application. Thanks so much! Tyler

Hello tyler, If you have integration pack license, you can try to use the App Integration command and that can also scrape the information from the entire window including the area of the status bar you are interested in. -Thanks Forum Staff |

I have AA premier, can I just purchase the integration pack as an add-on? I don't see that as an option anywhere... can you send me a link to it please? Also, i have two other questions that have not been answered on this forum from last week. thanks! Tyler
