Default Automation Anywhere vs. Other Automation Software

I currently use a program called Automate by Network Automation. The price of upgrading their software is pretty high so I decided to look around a little and found Automation Anywhere. I have tried out the trial version and it looks like it would fit my needs but was curious what you more experienced users felt about it and the support you get with issues. Also if anyone uses or has used Automate I would love to hear from you regarding any pros and cons you have come into. I just want to make as educated a decision as possible. There are some things about Automation ANywhere that I have already tried out that I like alot.

Default Automation Anywhere vs. Automate

SilentBob,

I own both Automation Anywhere ‘AA’ and Automate 6.
‘AA’ is very powerful tool, and has countless functional actions as you can see.
I purchased Automate 6 before finding out about ‘AA’. I spent over $8000 on Automate 6 vs. the $600 I spent for ‘AA’. You see in order to run Automate WorkFlows or Tasks on other machines you will need to install an agent and that cost extra $$ money… With ‘AA’ you can deploy the .exe file with out installing anything. As far as support goes, what if I told you it’s like having your own development team working for you… that right. I have been working with Tethys Solutions sales and tech support for 2 years now and every request for an enhancement has been added to their product… but don’t take my word… try it out for your self. The actions in web recorder and the excel actions came from my requests.

Thanks Nick. Automate definitely is much more expensive which is one reason I started to look around. AA's support seems very good as well.
