Default Task running when machine is locked

We are having issues with running the Automation Anywhere tasks when the computer is locked, even though the username and password are saved along with the scheduled task. Is there a way to get the task to run from a locked status using the password?

Default Yes. Auto Login feature

Yes. Automation Anywhere offers unique Auto Login technology. Auto Login allows scheduled tasks to run even when computer is locked. When you schedule a task you can enable Auto Login capability. If Auto Login in enabled, and if computer is locked, Automation Anywhere will unlock the computer, run the task and lock it back.

How can you use Auto Login technology when running an AA.exe file on a computer that does not have AA installed on it?

Hello,

Unfortunately, you cannot unlock a computer that does not have Automation Anywhere installed on it when running an AA.exe file. However, using Automation Anywhere 4.5 an exe can run in locked mode if your task doesn't include Keystrokes or Mouse actions. For e.g. if your task includes Manage Windows Control commands of Web Recorder then the exe created from this task will run even if your machine is locked.

Hope that helps.
